Teenage employees die at McDonald's in Peru

Two teenagers working the overnight shift at a McDonald’s in Lima, Peru, were electrocuted by a loose cable over the weekend.

Arcos Dorados, which runs McDonald’s in Peru, yesterday announced a two-day mourning period in which all of its restaurants would be closed.

Chicago-based McDonald’s officials said safety is a "global priority" and that it's examining the accident inside the restaurant.
