Technology will soon update your wardrobe

Technology has so enraptured the masses that most folks can’t put it down. Witness, for example, how many people go about their day with their noses pointed at the cellphones in their hands.
 
Soon, we won’t have to carry around a cumbersome phone. We’ll just wear our techno-gadgets, reports Bloomberg Businessweek. The publication sat in on a recent gathering of designers and attorneys at Fordham University’s Fashion Law Institute and reports wearable technology is rapidly moving beyond Google glasses.
 
One of the patents that has participants particularly excited is Nike’s new self-lacing shoes, ala Marty McFly’s kicks in the “Back to the Future” movies. No details on exactly how the shoes will lace themselves, but the explanatory diagram outlines more than 230 points.
