According to Raun Hamilton, EVS vice president and general manager, the show displays the latest technological goodies for professional industries ranging from security to education. It has grown in popularity over the last decade and will draw about 400 people to 64 booths.
“It’s a good draw from a lot of the major markets regionally,” Hamilton said.
He said EVS expects attendees from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois and Indiana, with professionals in the retail, education, broadcasting and security fields accounting for most of them. Exhibitors include Apple, Sony, Hitachi and Phillips.
Hamilton said EVS, which has been in business since 1979, holds the show mostly to thank clients.
“It’s also a good way for our manufacturers to support us as well,” he said.
