Tech giants spend record amounts on lobbying under Trump

Google, Apple, Amazon and Uber spent a combined $11.83 million lobbying federal officials in the second quarter, according to new lobbying disclosures.
Google, spending the most, pumped roughly $6 million into its efforts, up from $4.2 million a year earlier. Uber, the youngest of the four, spent around $430,000.
The increased lobbying bills are a result of Silicon Valley’s clashing with the Trump administration over immigration, climate change, net neutrality and trade policies.
