Teachers and staff at a St. Louis charter school went on strike Monday.
The staff at KIPP St. Louis High School are seeking job protections such as third-party arbitration for grievances, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Kelly Garrett, executive director of KIPP St. Louis, reportedly said "that a small group of staff represented by AFT Local 420" decided to “abandon the responsibilities we have for our children.”
