Taylor Swift hit with $42M suit for alleged plagiarism

Pop singer Taylor Swift is being sued for $42 million for alleged plagiarism in her song "Shake It Off."

R&B singer Jesse Braham, who records as Jesse Graham, claims Swift stole lyrics from his 2013 song "Haters Gonna Hate."

The suit claims Swift's chorus is similar to Graham's lyrics.

"If I didn't write the song 'Haters Gone Hate,' there wouldn't be a song called 'Shake It Off,'" he said.
