Target Corp. (NYSE: TGT) may have a $20 million method to defuse the boycott regarding the use of store restrooms by transgender customers and employees.
The nation’s second-largest retailer Wednesday announced it would spend that amount to install a third, single-toilet restroom with a locking door at roughly 1,500 stores across the United States.
The Minneapolis-based company faces a boycott with 1.4 million supporters over a policy that allows transgender customers and employees to use the restroom of their choice, according to CNNMoney.
