Target to spend $2.5B a year on upgrades

Target announced yesterday a plan to invest $2 billion to $2.5 billion annually starting 2017 on upgrades.

The funding would mostly go toward improving the company's supply chain and technology infrastructure.

The plan also calls for comparable store sales to grow by at least 3 percent starting next year.
