Target to eliminate 140 jobs, 50 open positions

Minneapolis-based Target Corp. announced it will lay off another 140 at its headquarters and close 50 other unfilled jobs.

According to The Associated Press, the news follows Target's March announcement it would lay off 1,700 and close 1,400 open positions.

The company also eliminated 17,000 jobs when it closed its Canada operations this year.
