Target Corp. is poised to settle a class-action lawsuit filed following the retailer's massive data breach in 2013, court documents filed Wednesday in Minnesota show.
Victims would be eligible for up to $10,000 in compensation each, according to USA Today.
To claim compensations, victims must demonstrate unauthorized, unreimbursed charges on their credit or debit card; time spent addressing the charges; fees to hire someone to correct their credit report; higher interest rates or fees on their accounts; credit-related costs; and costs to replace their ID, Social Security number or phone number.
