Target has lowered its profit outlook for the year.
The company now expects earnings per share for the year between $7 and $8. The range previously was $7 to $9 per share.
During the third quarter, Target's adjusted earnings were $1.78, above analysts' expectations of $1.72. Revenue of $25.27 billion was just below projections of $25.32 billion.
