Shareholders have filed suit against Target over the company's diversity, equity and inclusion program.
The suit, led by the City of Riviera Beach Police Pension Fund in Florida, is seeking class-action status. It alleges the company defrauded investors by failing to disclose the risk of its DEI program.
Target in January announced it would roll back several of its DEI initiatives.
