For nine months now, construction workers have been transforming Tan-Tar-A Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks into a Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
“It's a floor-to-ceiling renovation," said Ann Walters, the director of sales at Tan-Tar-A.
KY3 reports the model guest room shows the walls painted a light blue with Jimmy Buffet song lyrics painted above the beds, tropical-style artwork in the bedroom and bathroom, and a lot of natural light.
The estimated completion date is Memorial Day. Springfield Business Journal reported in November that the ownership group planned to invest $10 million into the renovation.
