Takata expands recall

Embattled auto parts company Takata has expanded its airbag recall.

The company added 2.7 million more airbags to the list.

The latest recall involves airbags that rely on calcium sulfate to keep them dry. The company says they can rupture while deploying the bags, hurling metal shards into vehicles.
