Taco Bell to use cage-free eggs in US restaurants

Taco Bell has hatched a plan to use cage-free eggs by the end of next year.

The subsidiary of Yum Brands Inc. indicated teh change would benefit 500,000 hens.

The restaurant chain joins such companies as Starbucks, McDonald's and Panera Bread.
