Project description: Fort Smith, Ark.-based K-Mac Enterprises is nearly finished with its 10th Taco Bell franchise in Springfield. Gerald Oney, owner of Branson-area contractor G. Oney and Associates, said the restaurant will seat 52 and will feature the new Bold Choice design, which employs darker colors and subdued lighting. The Taco Bell at 1348 N. Glenstone Ave. was renovated in the Bold Choice design in 2005, and the Taco Bell at 2933 S. National Ave. is undergoing similar renovations. Oney said all local Taco Bell restaurants will be converted. Oney built 105 of K-Mac Enterprises’ 143 Taco Bell restaurants, including all Springfield locations. K-Mac Enterprises owns Taco Bell restaurants in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
