The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce has a new economic development director in place.
The Branson West-based chamber hired Jeremy Goggans for the role, which involves oversight of the organization's Launch Stone County five-year economic development strategic plan, according to a news release. Launch Stone County, a $1.1 million initiative, debuted in 2023.
“Jeremy's blend of technical knowledge and genuine passion for serving communities makes him an excellent fit for our chamber,” said Sheila Thomas, president and CEO of the Table Rock chamber, in the release. “We’re confident his leadership will foster new partnerships and help drive sustainable economic growth throughout our region.”
Kyle Cook, announced last year as the Table Rock chamber's first economic development director, moved into a project manager role for Snyder Construction Group this spring, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Goggans joins the Table Rock chamber from Wagoner County, Oklahoma, where he served as interim director of planning and zoning and right-of-way coordinator. His LinkedIn profile states that he started at the Table Rock chamber this month.
The Table Rock chamber ranked No. 3 on Springfield Business Journal's list this year of the area's largest chambers of commerce. For the list published Jan. 20, the chamber reported a $1.5 million operating budget, six employees and 504 members.
