Syngenta (NYSE: SYT) agreed to buy Nidera Seeds from Chinese grains trader COFCO International for undisclosed terms.
"This acquisition is to enhance Syngenta's offering and reach in Latin American markets," said spokeswoman Ann Bryan.
Syngenta earlier this year was bought out by ChemChina.
