A crowdfunded draft beer dispenser has raised $2.5 million from St. Louis venture capital firm Arsenal Capital Management, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
The Synek Draft System has been called the Keurig of craft beer. Company officials say the funds will build inventory of the company’s drink dispensers, each about the size of a coffee machine. Synek and founder Steve Young plan to begin a 35-city product tour beginning June 25 in St. Louis and ending 15 days later in Denver, the business journal reports.
Last year, Synek raised $640,000 on Kickstarter and has received over $1 million in orders.
