SWMO Planned Parenthood clinics will offer abortions

Following a federal judge's decision on Wednesday, Planned Parenthood says its clinics in Springfield and Joplin will now perform medicine-induced abortions.

U.S. District Judge Howard Sachs blocked abortion-restricting rules in Missouri, saying he's bound by a U.S. Supreme Court ruling.

Jesse Lawder, vice president of communications for Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, said a doctor has been picked for the southwest Missouri clinics but final steps remain.
