Pat and Terry Hicklin, owners of Candy House Gourmet Chocolates, are recipients of the Blue Ribbon Small Business Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Candy House is the first Missouri business to receive the award since the U.S. Chamber created it in 2004. The award is designated to honor businesses that excel in financial performance, business history, staff training, community involvement, customer service, business planning and other areas. The Hicklins will receive their award during America’s Small Business Summit 2008 April 16–18 in Washington, D.C.
