Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, along with Drury University’s design-build team, unveiled an environmentally friendly home during a May 16 open house.

Drury project manager Traci Sooter said organizers are applying for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design platinum certification. The home features radiant floor heating, solar water heaters, Energy Star appliances, a pervious concrete driveway and recycled wooden rain barrels.
