Surviving the Wait

About 250 people wait Feb. 1 at Pairings Restaurant between Springfield and Nixa to record their two-minute audition tape for reality television show “Survivor XIII.” Local CBS affiliate KOLR 10 held the casting call and will send the tapes to the show's casting directors.

At right, potential contestant Jani Myers and friend Pam Wantuck waited about five hours. Myers, who works in Bolivar, said she attended the casting call to step out of her comfort zone and because she enjoys the show.[[In-content Ad]]
