Creditcards.com conducted a survey through Princeton Survey Research Associates International that found Republicans tip more than Democrats.
The study found Republican males - particularly in the Northeast - tipped a median of 20 percent at restaurants. Women and Democrats from the South were the worst tippers, at 16 percent and 15 percent, respectively, according to the study.
The survey also found that one in five sit-down restaurant goers occasionally don’t leave any gratuity at all.
