Supreme Court favors Google in Oracle case

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Google in a decade-old case against Oracle.

The companies had been battling legally over the Android operating system.

Oracle alleged Google copied Oracle's Java SE application programming interfaces to build Android. However, the court ruled it was an example of fair use.
