Global supply chain are beginning to recede, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Major U.S. retailers have indicated they have the supply of imported goods they need for the holidays. Ocean freight rates have retreated from record levels, and in Asia, COVID-related factory closures, energy shortages and port limitations have eased.
Still, industry executives and economists say a return to more normal operations won't happen until at least next year.
