Ernst & Young has resigned as auditor of Super Micro Computer.
Officials with Ernst & Young said the company is "unwilling to be associated with the financial statements prepared by management."
The auditor raised concerns this summer about the company's financial controls, governance and transparency, according to Quartz. Super Micro Computer formed a special board committee to investigate, but Ernst & Young ultimately decided against staying on board as auditor.
