The program is a schedule of transportation improvement projects planned by various agencies in the organization’s boundary, according to a news release. The latest proposed amendments call for:
• The addition of a project to relocate the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Sunshine Street; and
• The addition of a scoping project to identify the improvements needed on two bridges on Route D/Sunshine Street. The bridges cross the BNSF railway and Pearson Creek.
The public can review the amendments at the OTO office at 117 Park Central Square, Ste. 107. Comments may be submitted in writing to the OTO at PO Box 8368, Springfield, MO, 65801, e-mailed to sedwards@ozarkstransportation.org or faxed to (417) 862-6013.
The organization’s board of directors will review and possibly approve the amendments at noon on Oct. 16 in the Busch Municipal Building, 840 Boonville Ave. The public may submit comments during that meeting as well.
