Sunnyland – which offers motor coach, flight destination and cruise tours to every state and a number of other countries – now will also provide travel services.
“The addition of Exec-U-Travel to Sunnyland Tours is a natural extension for our business,” Sunnyland Executive Director Stephen Brock said in a news release. “We will be able to offer individual travel options to our clients, as well as air tickets, car rental, hotel options and a huge array of tour options.”
Sunnyland, 2000 S. Stewart Ave., Ste. A., has three employees. Springfield-based Exec-U-Travel’s 1309 E. Montclair St. operations will move to the South Stewart office, and its three employees will stay on.
The merged company temporarily will be known as Sunnyland Tours–Exec-U-Travel, the release said. After the transition, it will operate as Sunnyland Tours.
Sunnyland was founded in 1938 as a motor coach company and began offering escorted tours in 1978. Exec-U-Travel opened in 1987.[[In-content Ad]]
