Dallas County Technical Center
500 W. Main St., Buffalo
In April 2019, Dallas County voters approved a 46-cent per $100 of assessed value 25-year levy to build a new Dallas County Technical Center on the Buffalo High School campus. Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc. is the civil engineer on the project. Officials say the $11 million center will include agriculture facilities and shop spaces. It will replace Dallas County Schools’ technical center in Louisburg. Dake Wells Architecture Inc. is the project architect, and DeWitt & Associates Inc. is the general contractor. Additional engineering work is by Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is slated for completion in September 2021.
