Buf Studio is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer and project architect for a 25-unit apartment building in northwest Arkansas. Officials say the 15,500-square-foot Garland Apartments is designed with a mix of cement siding and stone veneer and features a combination of one- and two-bedroom units within walking distance of the University of Arkansas. Junkin Construction Co. Inc. (Roland, Arkansas) is the general contractor, and Miller Engineering PC is the structural engineer. The project is slated for completion in August 2021.
The first southwest Missouri location of EarthWise Pet, a national chain of pet supply stores, opened; Grey Oak Investments LLC relocated; and Hot Bowl by Everyday Thai LLC got its start.
