Project description: After a car wash was demolished, crews began erecting a retail center in its place. Business partners Tony Hopkins and James Tillman, organizers of THJT LLC, are building the shell structure for up to six tenants. Hopkins said letters of intent have been signed on some of the spaces but declined to provide details. Ireland Architects Inc. is the project architect with engineers Heithaus Engineering & Associates Inc., civil; Miller Engineering PC, structural; and Crocker Consulting Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
