Project description: After wrapping up projects in Ozark and Bolivar, Mercy Springfield Communities and Pitt Development Group LLC are constructing a clinic in southwest Springfield. Designed with 30 exam rooms and space for up to 10 health care providers, it replaces an adjacent Mercy office. Emery Sapp & Sons handled the site work, and three homes were demolished at the southwest corner of Republic Road and Scenic Avenue to make way for the clinic. The Lamar Johnson Collaborative LLC is project architect, with engineering work by Olsson Inc., civil; and Horner & Shifrin Inc. (St. Louis), structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
A franchise store of a Branson West-based quilting business made its Queen City debut; Grateful Vase launched in Lebanon; and Branson entertainment venue The Social Birdy had its grand opening.
