Ozarks Medical Center expansion
West Plains
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc. is the civil engineer on an expansion of the Ozarks Medical Center, which will connect the Shaw Medical Building and main hospital to house nearly all of OMC’s specialty clinics and ancillary services in one spot. Construction plans call for 117,000 square feet for medical offices, clinics, a procedure suite, centralized imaging facilities and a women’s center. Officials say U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development approved a $52.8 million loan to fund the project. Cromwell Architects Engineers Inc. (Little Rock, Arkansas) is project architect, and Killian Construction Co. is general contractor. It’s expected to wrap up in May 2021.
