CJW Transportation has been retained by the city of Springfield to provide engineering and surveying services for the Fort and Sunshine intersection. Roadway and intersection widening will provide new northbound and southbound left turn lanes and traffic signal upgrades. CJW’s services also include final construction documents and pre- and post-bid consultations. This project is part of the city’s N-cent capital improvements program. CJW also provided right-of-way, easement and utility relocation services and assisted in right-of-way acquisition. The improvements are to be finished in 2009.
