Hood-Rich Inc. is the architect, structural and civil engineer, and interior designer for the Willard R-V School District’s new elementary school. Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the HVAC, electrical and plumbing engineer for the 58,574-square-foot facility, which will serve students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Also included will be a large library, a commons area with stage, a commercial kitchen, art classroom, gymnasium and administrative offices. The exterior will be brick with ground-face accent block and stone, and a standing-seam metal roof. Two dormers will emit light into the commons area. The site will feature separate drop-off and pickup drives, public parking, a school bus drive and faculty parking. Completion is slated for August 2009. [[In-content Ad]]
