Summer 2008 Project Profile: Weaver Elementary School

Estimated cost: $5.6 million

The two-story, 25,400-square-foot addition to Springfield R-XII School District's Weaver Elementary School will be all brick, providing classroom space and a new cafeteria. Also included in the project are a new courtyard and main entrance to the school. Renovations to the existing building, including a new heating and cooling system, also are part of the project. Mike Holland, project manager with Flintco Inc., said crews are beginning drywall work. Project completion is scheduled for the beginning of 2009.[[In-content Ad]]
