General contractor: JE Dunn Construction Co. of Kansas City

Architect: Design team led by Minneapolis-based Ellerbe Becket, with architecture and interior design work by Springfield-based Pellham Phillips Architects and Engineers

Engineers: Colorado-based Martin & Martin, structural; St. Louis-based Ross & Baruzzini Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Springfield-based Scott Consulting Engineers PC, civil

Estimated cost: $67 million

Crews are preparing to pour the east concourse, which includes the Prime Overtime Club, according to Greg Burris, vice president of administrative and information services at Missouri State University. The 214,000-square-foot arena will seat 11,000 people, and seat installation is expected to begin later this summer. Burris said the project is running a week behind schedule, but it is still slated to open in time for the 2008-09 basketball season.
