Bill Nesbitt, Owner of Nesbitt Construction, says he hadn’t originally planned for his son to succeed him as president of their company. Michael Nesbitt spent several years working his way into the family business. With the company growing and celebrating it’s fortieth year in business, Bill decided to promote Michael to company president.

A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
