A study from Flamingo, which helps companies track absences, found Aug. 24 is the day when U.S. workers most often call out.
The report is based on data at 300 businesses with more than 10,000 employees apiece over the last five years.
An average of 0.9% of the studied workforce was out on Aug. 24. That's higher than Feb. 13, the No. 2 day that aligns with the Super Bowl.
