Five individuals served as independent judges after more than 60 nominations from Business Journal readers were received during July and early August. Nominations closed Aug. 8. |ret||ret||tab|

Yelin is a 1974 summa cum laude graduate of Drury University and has honors and achievements too numerous to list here. Suffice it to say the SBJ staff is fortunate to be able to present her as a speaker for this first-time event.|ret||ret||tab|

The 2000 Influential Women In Business magazine-style publication and awards luncheon is the third in a series of recognition events presented by the Business Journal. It is being held in conjunction with its 20th anniversary year, joining 40 Under 40 in April and Economic Impact Awards in July.|ret||ret||tab|

All of the events and special publications are designed to recognize and salute the people and companies for their positive contributions to Springfield and southwest Missouri.|ret||ret||tab|
