Stocks post worst day in months

Stocks recorded their largest drop in months yesterday on anxiety over the trade war between the U.S. and China.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 617.38 points, or 2.4%, and the S&P 500 decreased 69.53 points, or 2.4%. Both posted their largest one-day drops since Jan. 3.

The Nasdaq also fell 269.92 points, or 3.4%. That's the worst performance since December 2018.
