Stocks break a record

The Nasdaq Composite Index yesterday set a net record on news of corporate results and the promise of Trump administration tax reform.

The index shot past 6,000 for the first time.

The S&P 500 Index closed near a record, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by over 200 points.
