Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis has regained full accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission.
The university had been at risk of falling out of compliance for two years over issues with an audit, student tracking and graduation rate improvement strategies, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
“The Higher Learning Commission decision underscores the dedication and hard work of everyone at Harris-Stowe to build a culture of success by manifesting an environment of continuous improvement (and) ensure our scholars receive the highest quality education," said Harris-Stowe President LaTonia Collins Smith in a statement.
