The St. Louis Board of Alderman voted to allocate American Rescue Plan Act funds for a new 911 dispatch center.
The $8.9 million represents the last of the city's ARPA funds to be allocated before a Dec. 31 deadline, said St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones.
The 911 dispatch center is slated for completion in fourth-quarter 2026 at 2741 Thomas St.
