City of St. Louis leaders are threatening litigation against Kia and Hyundai.
City officials allege the companies' vehicles have a defect that make them easier to steal. The city averaged 21 Kia and Hyundai theft incidents per day in July, and that number has increased to about 23 in August.
A viral TikTok video has shown users how they can use a screwdriver and a USB charging cable to steal the South Korean-made vehicles.

Amazing. Liberal democrats now find that the manufacturers of "nice things" are guilty of making them too easy to steal instead of the "soft on crime liberals" taking care of their rampant crime. I am sure GUCCI and ROLEX are on their target lists.
