St. Louis infrastructure technology company Secure Data Technologies Inc. is expanding into the Springfield market with at least two local hires.
The company posted on Facebook that it hired Glenn Rinks as a senior account manager and Dan Strickland as an operations and sales support team member. Both previously worked at ISG Technology Inc., according to LinkedIn records and past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
Secure Data is recruiting and hiring technology professionals in the area, according to a news release.
“We have been working toward expanding our market in Missouri and feel that southwest Missouri is a perfect fit,”said Dana Steffey, founder and CEO of Secure Data, in the release.
A Secure Data spokesperson said its local employees would be working remotely until a physical office can be opened following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. Secure Data is a managed services provider that assists clients with hardware and software needs, engineering support, and network, security, data and cloud services. The company’s website lists three offices in St. Louis, Columbia and O’Fallon, Illinois.
The company is hosting a meet-and-greet event Oct. 14 at Hotel Vandivort’s Vantage Rooftop Lounge.
Two candidates are vying for a seat being vacated by term-limited Springfield Mayor Ken McClure, who is serving his fourth and final two-year term.
