More than 20 teachers and staff members from St. Louis Public Schools filed suit against the district over its COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The employees allege they were denied religious exemptions and placed on unpaid leave or fired in October after the school board adopted a vaccine mandate.
The suit seeks three months of back pay, as well as other damages.
