The city of St. Louis is seeking to take ownership of the dilapidated Railway Exchange Building in the downtown area.
The city intends to buy the building through its Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority board, either through a direct sale or eminent domain.
The building owned by Hudson Holdings has been vacant since 2014.
