A proposed data center at the Armory building in St. Louis was met with opposition by residents during the first of two town halls.
Most of the over 100 attendees who spoke during the Thursday meeting were opposed, citing concerns related to electricity rates, location, environmental issues and transparency.
THO Investments and Simms Building Group are behind the proposal at the building that previously housed the Armory, the now-shuttered “largest bar in St. Louis.”
